I am 22 years old and based in the Bristol area currently in my 3rd year studying Photography in the Arts at the Swansea Metropolitan University.

My main love in photography is using the medium to create art work using film, primarily black and white. This is key to my practice, as the tactility of traditional methods hold a quality hard to reproduce using modern digital technology.

I feel that a strong theoretical underpinning behind work is a main priority when producing art, and without it i feel that work can become misguided. I also feel that knowing the capabilities of my equipment is key to getting exactly what i intend.

I own a range of camera's across most formats, however my recent step up to a Mamiya RB67 has really paid dividend in the development of my work
